Elements of our KS4 vocational pathway are available as a Level 1 Certificate (OFQUAL regulated), allowing students to explore aspects of hairdressing, beauty, and barbering. This flexible approach helps students identify their strengths and potential career options before committing to a Level 1+ Diploma, giving them the opportunity to make informed decisions about their future.

Our vocational pathways provide the foundational skills necessary for lifelong development, offering students the opportunity to refine their abilities time and time again. Salon owners and employers seek candidates with hands-on experience and a broad range of skills to thrive in a salon environment. Through our vocational pathway, students are equipped with a higher chance of securing a position as an apprentice or assistant, where they can continue to develop their knowledge and skills.
The career options available with these qualifications are vast and diverse. They may lead to opportunities in fashion and photography, product development, brand campaigns, or even owning a salon or becoming an educator as a session stylist or college tutor. Our assessors share real-life experiences, such as being the creative stylist for Manchester Fashion Week, working as an ambassador for a renowned brand, or in a professional photography studio, to inspire students. We provide as much hands-on experience as possible, giving students valuable skills to enhance their CVs.
